Producer

Development

Christien is currently Associate Producer on upcoming Sky Original series Amadeus.

He was also recently Assistant Producer on S2 of Alan Carr's ITVX comedy 'Changing Ends'.

 

In 2023, he produced 'Idiomatic', directed by and starring Emmy nominee Phil Dunster, exec'd by Brett Goldstein, which premiered at Tribeca Film Festival in summer 2024.

In 2022, he worked as Shadow Producer on The Lazarus Project S2, and produced BFI Network short film 'Swole'.

Christien started his filmmaking journey making numerous shorts, with his first 'Like You Like Me', winning 'Best Comedy Short' at BAFTA qualifying Carmarthen Bay Film Festival in 2017. 

The Morning After Etiquette also played at Carmarthen, and premiered as part of Film London's 'Eastern Edge' screening, before securing distribution in the US and EU with Shorts TV. 

He also co-created mini web series Suffering, which was nominated for four 'Screen Nation Awards' and streamed on US platform 'Black & Sexy TV'.

Christien has also worked in development since 2017, when he co-founded the 'Eastern Edge Screenwriting Labs', funded by Film London. 

Following that, he developed work with numerous screenwriters who have gone on to secure broadcast commissions and major funding.

He is currently developing his own slate of projects with numerous talented writers through his new indie It's Fine Productions, which he runs with Sinitta Monero.
